“ From a very young age I knew the music industry was something I had to be apart of. For me, music has always been a way to heighten my emotions and move through different periods of my life. Whether that was listening through earbuds to drown out the noise, trekking it into the city with friends to hear our favorite artists live, or putting pen to paper to better understand my thoughts, music has always held some power over me I can’t begin to describe.
After high school, I moved to the city from the Central Coast to immerse myself in the scene. At the time, I was bouncing between different degrees at different universities as I felt the need to find employment in a more stable industry. In what felt like a blip, I fell into a rougher period of my life, and found solace in writing music again. For the first time I was recording music onto Garage Band under the name THE SUNDAY CARTOONS, and it filled me with more pride than anything else ever had. I eventually left my other studies and spent a year and a half focusing on my production and songwriting.
In this time, I changed my artist name too many times to count. I released a number of singles, a total of four EP’s, and an album called ‘BLUEPRINT’ (which while amateur on a technical level, holds merit on an artistic level). I collaborated with different artists around Sydney, filmed and directed videos, played a few shows, and produced hundreds of beats and half-finished songs. I ended up reaching a point where I wanted to deepen my understanding of audio, and so I enrolled into JMC Academy’s Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Audio Engineering and Sound Production).
At this point in March of 2025, I am halfway through my degeee and have found myself deeply in love with all aspects of the studio and all parts of the creative process. I have plenty of music on the way in my personal discography under the name ‘faeser’, and I am really looking forward to collaborating with different bands and artists in producing, recording, or mixing their new projects.”
